Policies and Procedures

Business Policies:

  • We accept cash, credit cards, and personal checks.
  • There is a $20 fee for returned checks.
  • Payment is due at the conclusion of the session.
  • Session time includes any discussion with therapist prior to the session and undressing & dressing before and after the massage.
  • Gift Certificates
    • We are not responsible for lost gift certificates.
    • Gift certificate value is the value of the service at the purchase date.
Therapist Responsibilities:
  • Session will start and end in a timely fashion.
  • 24 hour notice will be given to cancel appointments except for emergencies/illness.
  • All client information will be kept confidential.
  • Client privacy will always be respected.
  • Draping will be utilized to respect client privacy and professional boundaries.
  • Personal and environmental hygiene and sanitation will be maintained.
  • Therapist has the right  to end session if client acts in an inappropriate or threatening manner.
Client Responsibilities:
  • Arrive on time for appointments.
    • Arrive a few minutes early at first appointment to complete paperwork.
    • Tardiness will result in deduction of time from appointment with full session fee charged.
  • Turn off cell phones.
  • 24 Hour notice for cancellation of appointment.
    • less than 24 hour notice will result in client being billed full amount for session.
  • Arrive to session hygienically clean and free of illness.
  • Notify therapist of any change in medical history.
  • Treat the therapist as a professional, maintaining appropriate boundaries.
